EXECUTIVE LEADERSHIP IN STRATEGIC INVESTIGATIONS: ENHANCING THE OFFICE OF THE NATIONL ANTI-CORRUPTION COMMISSION (ONACC) THAILAND- INVESTIGATIVE EDGE 2025

Kuala Lumpur, 11 August 2025 - The Malaysia Anti-Corruption Academy (MACA) had the honour of hosting a customised training programme entitled “Executive Leadership in Strategic Investigations: Enhancing the Office of the National Anti-Corruption Commission (ONACC) Thailand – Investigative Edge 2025” from 5 to 8 August 2025.
The programme brought together 75 senior officers from ONACC, Thailand, with the aim of strengthening strategic leadership and enhancing investigative capacity in addressing corruption-related challenges.
Designed with a focus on practical and leadership-oriented outcomes, the programme featured a series of expert-led lectures, interactive workshops, and case study discussions. These sessions aimed to equip participants with advanced strategies and tools essential for effective anti-corruption investigations and institutional governance.
To further foster international cooperation and collegiality, participants took part in various engagement activities, including a friendly football match in which Team MACA emerged victorious. Delegates also had the opportunity to visit the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) Headquarters, where they were briefed on Malaysia’s enforcement framework, operational mechanisms, and best practices in anti-corruption initiatives.
The programme concluded with an official closing ceremony held at Hotel Melia, Kuala Lumpur. The ceremony was officiated by YBhg. Dato’ Mohd Hafaz Nazar, the Senior Director of MACA and witnessed by the National Anti-Corruption Commissioner of ONACC, signifying the strong bilateral collaboration and mutual commitment to excellence in anti-corruption leadership and capacity building.
This initiative further solidifies the strategic partnership between MACA and ONACC, reaffirming both institutions’ dedication to fostering regional cooperation and strengthening global efforts in combating corruption.
