MACA RECOGNIZED ACADEMY OF THE PUBLIC PROSECUTOR'S OFFICE OF THE REPUBLIC OF UZBEKISTAN

Uzbekistan, May 16 - The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) through the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Academy (MACA) has received a special invitation to an international conference in conjunction with the Academy of the General Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Uzbekistan. in Tashkent, Uzbekistan today.
The seminar themed "Enhancing Scientific and Educational Capacity in the Sphere of Law Enforcement Activities: Modern Tendencies and Prospects" which took place on 16 and 17 May 2019 was also attended by 500 participants from Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan and surrounding countries. While the MACC was represented by YBhg. Dato ’P. Ganason a / l S. Periathamby, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Corporate Anti-Corruption Compliance Center (CACCC), MACA. During the conference, Dato 'P. Ganason was also honored to deliver a short speech on behalf of the MACC.
Mr. Uygun Nigmadjanov, Deputy Head of the Academy of the Public Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Uzbekistan who is a former participant in the "Senior Executive for Strategic Management of Anti-Corruption" Training Program organized by MACA stated that other because MACA provides the latest and always relevant training programs in an effort to address global corruption issues.
In this regard, the Academy of the Public Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Uzbekistan highly values MACA's expertise and hopes to share knowledge and continue to enhance cooperation between Malaysia and Uzbekistan. in the future. Dato 'P. Ganason also stated that a session to sign a memorandum of understanding between the two countries is expected to take place in the near future.
