23-11-2021
To ensure the readiness of firearms skills and understanding of the rules and Standing Orders of the Chief Commissioner on the use of firearms, Commission Officers must pass a shooting skills test within a year and failure will result in officers not being eligible to carry firearms.
In this regard, MACA has carried out shooting exercises that were delayed due to the Covid-19 pandemic at the Shahpadu Shooting Range Precinct 20, Putrajaya on 16 November 2021. The training was attended by the Director of the Malaysian Anti -Corruption Academy (MACA), YBhg. Dato 'Hj. Idris Zaharudin and commission officials at MACA who witnessed all those present had passed the test successfully.
This shooting skills training and testing program are conducted in strict adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to reduce the risk of Covid-19 infection.
